Calculation..... a much easier way

I feel that calculation is an inherent quality. Even a person who had not been to school can calculate very accurately.Let me tell you something that I've been observing for a long time.
Here in Hata, whenever I buy something, suppose I have to pay Rs. 46 and I gave the shopkeeper Rs.100 note, what he'll do?  He will give me Rs. 4 and say 50 is completed and continues counting by adding Rs. 10 or whatever denomination he has till it becomes 100. What a wonderful way of counting!
Not an iota of error.
In this situation , what we'll do. We'll subtract 46 from 100 as our teacher told us when we were small kids.Though we also do not make mistakes but their method is far more simpler and it can be taught to children  at the initial stage to hold an interest in mathematics. And mind you... they have not learnt any method of calculation,it's their inherent quality.

Are We Hypocrites?

Are we hypocrites? A question which pops up in my mind every now and then. Do we really have a single stand on things around us or do we change it according to the way it pleases us. One of the best example could be:   If we are doing something (things for which we have vague idea of its truth) it is right and if others are doing it, we consider it wrong. Only God knows the standard on which we judge things. We go on and on to prove the veracity of things.  We say that our stand is very clear on a subject but when it comes to reality we change our stand. Is this sort of mentality breaking the very fabric of the society? In my opinion, Yes. Because when it comes to actually showing our mettle, we step back which consequently hampers our growth as an individual and on the whole our society. Another pertinent example:  Political parties’ stand on things on the issues of society are not on one side but change according to their profit in the elections. Some par...

Photographs told me everything.....

The special cell story about the blast in the Israeli diplomatic car on 13 feb. is that a motorbike stuck the magnet bomb to the rear left side of the car of the diplomat , and the bomb is expected to explode within 4.5 seconds after it is planted.Which means that there was no time for the biker to move away from the target or for the target to know what happened. The photographs makes an interesting story.A close observation show that the flames are coming out from inside the car; the body of the car is intact and even its rubber tyre are unharmed.Special cell or Israeli embassy never claimed that the bomb was planted inside the car. Why? The cooked up story is that the bomb was attacked to the outer left panel of the car (the petrol tank is on the right side). If this is so, the blast on the outer panel must have smashed the panel. The left/rear rubber tyre should have been destroyed and burnt but nothing of this sort happened as the photograph clearly depicts. In the next photo, wh...

Pages by a Depressed guy...not me Of Course!!

What I want from my life is a very difficult question I ask myself every now and then. Do I want a moderate salary and a good wife  or do I want to be at some very good post or do I want to become a teacher ?.And mind you, there is no pressure from anybody. Why each one of the options whether written above or just cooked up in  my head allures me to the same extent ? Some are very good for the money they give, some are very good for the charm and some I don't know. There seems to be a blurred picture vexing me 24*7.Sometimes I am relieved that Ok! look I have decided what I want to do but after sometime I am again back to square one. For a long time now , I am searching for an answer but there is no way out .Some of my friends tell me Do this and some,  Do that making me more and more confused. Its not their fault ,they just see in future an exaggeration of a miniature quality in me.  Am I the person with no goal in my life or is it just being too flexible. I don't k...
